Beijing, August 17, 2024—The International Council of Aircraft Owner and Pilot Associations (IAOPA) has recognized the 20th anniversary of AOPA-China with a formal congratulatory letter. The anniversary event, held in Beijing, saw participation from a wide range of aviation industry leaders, member organizations, and stakeholders.

In the letter, IAOPA Secretary General James W. Coon acknowledged AOPA-China’s efforts over the past two decades in promoting the development of general aviation in China. He highlighted AOPA-China’s work in areas such as safety, innovation, and education, noting that these efforts align with IAOPA’s broader mission.

The letter also reaffirmed the ongoing partnership between IAOPA and AOPA-China, emphasizing the role AOPA-China plays as IAOPA’s affiliate.
