The First Aviation Carnival in Zibo, Shandong Province

As aviation industry in China is taking off, there is an increasing number of opportunities for Chinese people to learn more about aviation.


From the 5th to 9th of July, Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association of China(AOPA-China) and Aero Sports Federation of Shandong Province jointly organized the First Aviation Carnival in Zibo. The citizens in Zibo thus could get a profound knowledge about aircraft and aviation, as well as enjoying the grand aviation-themed exhibition.


There were 4 exhibition zones respectively for static aircraft , technology and culture, equipment for experience and entertainment and craftsman’s story sharing.


In the static aircraft exhibition zone, different types of fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters and military aircraft models were on display. Participants were also able to experience hot air balloons, watch robot cosplay shows, UAV shows and meet representatives of aircraft manufacturers, operators and providers.

In the technology and culture exhibition area, visitors could learn the history of aviation development and get immersed in the aviation culture. Moreover, there were some interesting games and interactions involved so that people could absorb the knowledge in a more relaxing way.


In the experiencing zone, some aviation-themed VR equipment and flight simulators were provided for visitors to experience in the flesh. It is the fact that this zone had a powerful magnetizing power on kids and teenagers.


In the craftsman’ story sharing zone, many masters were there to share their stories and disseminated the craftsman spirit. Their masterpieces were also on display. Never forget why you started, and your mission can be accomplished.


Plus, the Model Plane Competition of the Eighth Nation-wide Sports Event in Shandong Province also took place in the carnival. It is expected that more people can get in touch with aviation culture and become more interested in it.
